Pulling tracks with same name from different song mixes

I’m using Auto Align on different songs. So when I go from song A, to Song B, Auto Align gives me an error message that I have “duplicate tracks.” But what it’s really doing is pulling for example the “top snare” track from another song of the same title “top snare.” Same for “kick” Etc. I’m sure I could fix this by adding the song title in front of “snare top” for ex. Is there another way to do this without having to change the track names? Can I keep it on just the song I’m working on?

Which DAW are you using?

If your DAW supports having more than one session open (Like Studio One), try closing the first session before opening the next one.

I use Reaper. I also can’t seem to figure out how to remove these “duplicate tracks” from the list. I deactivated them, reset All and still have all the old tracks. Anyway to remove tracks on the list? See image

It seems it’s not possible to work in multiple mixes at the same time. Unless I add the song name to for ex the “bass” or “L Overhead” track, as it’s labeled on every song. Any other work around? Thanks

Looking at your screenshot, it looks like you might be running an earlier Auto-Align 2 version.
We highly recommend updating to version 2.2.2, as we continuously fix bugs and improve performance. You can find the latest installer on our Downloads page.

If the issue persists after updating, please send us a snippet of the two REAPER projects where this happens so we can replicate the bug and take a closer look. You can send them to us via WeTransfer.

Hi,

I downloaded the update and nothing is different. All of the extra tracks are still there. What do you mean by “snippet”, send you stems or master mix from the 2x tracks having the issue? I can’t tell if the update is supposed to make it so it depend lull from other songs and also cleans up extras, but it really seems like an option to delete these extra tracks, would be very useful.
