Hi, I’m having an issue where I’ve assigned and aligned tracks for a multi-amp bass setup, and once the software aligned the tracks it sounded magical! I later did a few edits, and noticed at all my crossfades and fades in and out, I’m getting a click. What can I do to fix this. It even presented when I tried to glue a track.
Hi @johnangelo716 ,
Sorry to hear about this issue.
If you’re on macOS, can you try switching between Auto-Align 2 VST3 and AU and see if the issue persists?
You can export your current alignment under Settings and import it to the new plugin format.
Since I couldn’t reproduce this issue on my end, it would be really helpful if you could send a project snippet that demonstrates it to support@soundradix.com. We’ll be happy to take a closer look.
Thanks,
Oran
I’ll try switching to AU now. What would be best to include in the snippet?
Hi, Switching to the AU version seems to have fixed the issue. Do you recommend using the AU version over the VST3 version on Mac? I am using an M3 Macbook pro.
Thanks you!
Hi @johnangelo716 .
On REAPER,
VST3 defaults to ARA while AU will be a normal plug-in.
There’s nothing wrong using non-ARA of course, and you can also use internal Import/Export within AA2 to do quick analysis on ARA while later keeping the non-ARA version.
Yet, the behavior you’ve mentioned doesn’t sounds right. so indeed if you can provide our support with cocrete demo project, we could then look into it in order to fix it.
I have it uploaded to my google drive. How do I send you a link privately?
