Auto-Align Post 2.2.1 Public Beta2 (with Logic Pro X preview)

Hi Everyone,

We’re happy to share with you Auto-Align Post 2.2.1 Public Beta 2.

This Beta includes some important bug fixes, initial support for Logic Pro X, and performance improvements in Premiere Pro.

Fixed since beta1:

  • [ARA] Fixed cases where alignment might be off if the reference region or clip contains crossfades.
  • [AAX, ARA] Fixed “Updating playback info…” takes too long for big sessions.
  • [ARA] Fixed correlation meters update on scroll.
  • [Premiere Pro] Report when clips were skipped during alignment.
  • [Premiere Pro] Alignment might fail for team projects.
  • [Premiere Pro] Alignment might fail for external media.
  • [Premiere Pro] Simplified backend and frontend to use the same versioning.

Here are a few key points when using AAP as ARA2 in Logic Pro X:

  1. For Apple silicon users: make sure you’re running Logic Pro X under Rosetta .
  2. ARA2 updates in Logic require restarting playback, therefore, any timeline changes will require a transport action (play/stop) to update the ARA state.

Continually crashes when rendering for a 1-hour show to export for delivery.

This seems to occur when ARA clips are included within a clip group.

Hi @benrauscher,

I’m sorry to hear about this issue.

It would be a great help if you could forward us a crash report and steps to reproduce to support@soundradix.com.

So far, I couldn’t reproduce this.

Thanks,

Oran
