Auto-Align 2: adaptive mode for drum samples?

Howdy folks! Auto-Align user of many years here. AA2 is on a very short list of plugins I wouldn’t want to work without.

Feature request: I’d love to see AA one day feature an “adaptive mode” to sync up drum samples on a hit-by-hit basis.

Use case: Let’s say I run a snare track into Trigger or Kontakt to generate samples. It’s been my experience that the samples aren’t relationally consistent to the source track. This hit may be a millisecond late, that hit may be a millisecond early, etc.

An adaptive AA could solve a pain point for producers like me who want to blend, rather than totally replace, drum samples.

Have you tried using Auto-Align Post for this task?

Auto-Align Post (in Dynamic mode) will be able to align each triggered sample dynamically to a selected reference track.

There’s a 14-day trial available in the downloads page.
