Compresion automation can't be faded

I’ve been trying PowAir on dialog for TV.
I noticed that when automating the compression, it doesn’t fade back when in Touch mode.
It’s not possible to make a fade between values.

The reason I want to do this is to make the mix more dynamic at certain points.

Due to compatibility reasons, POWAIR uses “stepped” values instead of continuous which results in the described behavior.
