Hey,
I am using Auto Align Post 2.
And I have a very stand situation of a Boom and a Lav. But somtimes when I want to align the Lav to the Boom, than its not showing the red wave I want to refer to.
So somtimes I select the track it should refer to, click visualize, and it works fine.
But sometimes nothing is showing up, after clicking visualize but the blue wave.
Any Ideas why this happens?
I am using Protools 2023.12.1on Ventura on an Mac Studio.
okay thats random:
I moved the files from the A-Dia Track-system to the B-Dia-tracks … there auto align had no problem analyzing them.
Than I moved them back to the A-Dia-Tracks, than switched back the refering track to look for, and than it worked fine aswell.
Same as the other files it didnt want to analize before, but now can be analyzed without any problem - but I didnt move them

Thanks for your message. Sorry to hear about this issue.
If you’re working with duplicated tracks, Auto-Align Post might receive the wrong information in the reference track, to solve this, move the tracks you’re aligning (Reference and Target) to the top of the session and make sure all the unused tracks are at the bottom of the session
Also, please make sure none of the tracks in the session are in ‘Playlist’ or some automation view. Set all the tracks to ‘Waveform’.
