Pro Tools Audio Suite feature request… example… boom on Dx 1, iso on Dx 2.
When Clip by Clip, Create Individual Files, Whole File options are selected… Auto-Align Post will reference the whole Dx 1 file and then render / align the whole Dx 2 file.
This would enable dialogue editors to pull phased handles, and cut without having to lock down their phased clip regions. Additionally, the Dx 2 clip can always be reverted back to the non-rendered version via the Field Recorder options.
