Resolve 19 and 20 Error When Rendering - Windows

Hi all!

Doing some tests to edit OBS recordings for youtube in Davinci Resolve. I’m using an MKH50 and Lav that I’d like to align but every time I try and render I get the following error.

I’ve tried on both Resolve 19 and 20 and get the same results. It’s just two tracks so I’m not sure why it’s having problems.

Any thoughts?

Thanks for your message. Sorry to hear about this issue.

It would be a great help if you could send us your project to support@soundradix.com so we could take a look.
The aap-davinci-resolve-log file, would also be helpful, it’s located in: C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Temp.

In the meantime, in DaVinci Resolve 20, you can try copying the track you’re aligning to a new track, and try to align from there.

Thankfully youtube videos are pretty simple, not much moving. So I can do a quick and dirty phase align in the meantime. And for heavy post projects AAP works beautifully in Pro Tools. But hopefully we can figure this out so I can start testing fairlight with more complex post projects :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

No luck on the Resolve 20/copying, sadly.
