Do you need Auto Align for music work if you already have Auto Align Post ?
I just started using the post version and i love it for dialog and was wondering if it could be used for drum mics or bass mic/di situations.

Auto-Align 2 is better suited for music production.
Auto-Align 2 aligns all the tracks that share common information with each other, as a group.
It also gives you access to alternate correlation points using the Next / Previous buttons, so you can preserve the natural delay on your Room mic (for example) and still improve the correlation.
Auto-Align Post aligns each selected track to a selected reference track. It also includes a dynamic mode for when the mics are moving.
For mixing, I’d recommend Auto-Align 2, and for post-production - Auto-Align Post 2.
