A couple of bugs found on W10

This is a bug report for two bugs I encountered -

  1. Crash the DAW when using the ‘Revert to Saved..’ feature -
When loading a preset and then navigating to the three dots menu labeled ‘More Options’ and pressing ‘Revert to Saved’, the DAW will crash.
Sometimes immediately, sometimes when reloading a new preset.
It was reproduced on my PC many times.

    Steps to Reproduce:

    1. Load any preset. After loading, play a few notes
    2. Go to Revert to Saved and press it - might be a crash
    3. If a crash did not happen, load another preset - crash.
  2. Spectrogram style settings are not saved -
When changing the Spectrogram settings to any other than 3D, closing the instrument’s GUI, and reopening it, its state will be reverted to default, which is 3D.

    Steps to reproduce:

    1. Open Radical instance and go to the Spectogram settings and change both to NONE
    2. Close the instance (just GUI) and reopen it
    3. See that settings are reverted to 3D

Hi @refael.assor,

Thanks a lot for reporting these bugs.

Spectrogram style settings are not saved - is on our plate.

Re: Crash the DAW when using the ‘Revert to Saved..’ feature - I couldn’t reproduce it in Cubase 14 and 15. If you can send the Crash log to support@soundradix.com, we’d be happy to look into it.

Best,

Oran
